Hello to the Club Blade community. I've found myself with a fast growing collection of automatics since I recently discovered the Bladeplay site. The bulk of my knives were purchased as broken but I seem to have a knack for fixing them. Really great deals, I must thank BladePlay for all the fun. Foremost on my mind is a particular knife that came without a firing button under the top kraton insert. It has "Blade HQ" etched on the blade. The closest knife I could find to it on Blade HQ is the SW4000 Smith & Wesson http://www.bladehq.com/item--SW4000-Smith-Wesson-SWAT--726 which looks to be the same handle mold. I like the knife enough to order one up in hopes of being able to duplicate its firing pin. The company I work for does a lot of metal fab so a lot of minds and machines are available. This is really fun, I've had switchblade cravings my whole life so I'm really enjoying this.

Ok, just received my Smith & Wesson. Love it. Pulled the kraton rubber insert and the firing pin could not be more simple! Genius.
I know this is not the proper thread so I will start a new one and post my progress. |
