| HI, has anyone used a collapsible baton for real self defense.? Do the police use them? I'm just interested in hearing some stories. |

I used to have an ASP a while back; I kept it in my car, I think a mechanic lifted it when I took my car in for service. Never used it on anyone. The are tough as nails though. If you want something reliable, spend the extra $$ for an ASP. The cheapies tend to bend. Another good defense tool for you car is a vacuum cleaner. I watched a guy use a vacuum cleaner on an attacker once. He was deadly with that dirt devil! I forget the model of it, but I can send you a link when I find it. _________________ "Who's the more foolish: the fool or the fool who follows him?." |

Of course police officer will use police baton because this is issued by the government to them. I don't use them because it is not allowed to our place. _________________ police batons |

Are you talking about this one:

I've always fancied getting one of these just to see if there really is a 20" OTF baton!! For self defense purposes the only thing that seems it would be difficult is the size of the thing. How do you like yours? Is it too big to fit into a pocket? |
